Can you ask him how many shots have gone through it? Ask him to send you a pic (In RAW) of a white piece of paper and a black piece of paper.

I want a new cam so bad but theres just so many other things that keep popping up that I want more rather than spend $300+ just so I can show you guys my sweet fish....so until I get a new one I'll just have to take AWESOME pics with my SWEET Vivitar 3300 thats like 9 years old and has like 1.3 MPX....was a pile when I bought it and time has not been so kind....
