Well, as some of you may know, I'm getting out of the hobby for a bit. Most of my fish are sold and gone and all of my
tanks (300 240 210 150) are pretty much spoken for, minus my reef tank. All I have left to sell are 9 small Flowerhorns and my SRT, oh and my widebar...

I'm going to keep my 20 Snook/Trimacs in this pond and grow them out a bit before I say goodbye to them though.

Cost of the build;

150g Pond - free (Thanks Pat)
pvc - $5
bulkhead- leftover from a free tank
Tub - $5
Bio - leftover from previous tanks
Pump - from closet
Krylon - $5
pegboard- scrap from garage
zip ties - from junk drawer
gutter gaurd - whole roll costs $4 (I always have some just in case)

Total $15

Here's the tub I picked up at Wallmart for $4 and change.

Drilled a hole in it and threw on a bulkhead I pulled off of one of my
previous tank projects.

Grabbed some left over light defuser and pvc from the garage.

Ran out to WallyMart at 11:30pm and grabbed some Krylon.
Came back and painted it outside at Midnight with a flashlight...

A friend of mine said that once, I said no thanks, Oh wait that's a different story;)

Back on topic
as cheap as it may be looks pretty good to me.

Wow, that looks great. Speaking of looking great, let me know if you decide you want to get rid of any of that driftwood in the background.

:thumbsup:love the filter camshaft, its nice to see the down n dirty basic builds. reminds you that while its nice to do fancy filtration, in a pinch you can make something without blowing much cash.

i'm really sorry to hear about you getting out of the hobby(even temporary) but i understand, although i can't say i'll miss your avatar:grinno:hope you are able to return soon.

have to say the table saw:headbang2 ranks pretty high on my list of "creative" usage of materials(glove was a nice touch;)). you should post a link on the Ghetto Pic Thread(hint, hint:naughty:)

HAHA. I like the table saw!!

Oh, and I like that filter :)

great filter, just wondering what that was you used for the drip tray?

thats a fantastic looking filter and i love the table saw

Nice work good to see you're not totally bowing out.
