great job you did..and i am happy you did not get so dissapointed and scrap the project after it started leaking.. it turned out so awesome..love all the plants.. and yellow will be very pretty decor for the blocks.. proud of your venture.. and success.. you will get those babies... i just know it..
 
nice set up,that aquarium cost ya cheap,I asked how much would cost to make same sized aquarium as you have but from glass and they told me £600 with no lid,cabinet!!
just the aquarium,they asked for £1000 for an aquarium,sump,cabinet and lid,is this any good deal?

That's not a bad deal. For a brand new tank that size and with the sump and stand, I'd go for it.
What exactly does that convert over to in USD?

that deal did not include:
lighting (add £150-£300 for lights in a lid.)
pumps (add £50-£100 for a pump,few sizes.)
media
delivery (for delivery they want £150 for an working days delivery and for weekend delivery they want £200.)
 
How thick is the acrylic? Sides and top.
Doesn't sound too bad so far. Definitely a better then average deal were I live.

Great job on that build! awesome! great looking 240g too! that drift wood is massive in that 240! Beautiful tho!
