If they were raised together than u have a better chance but if you added them from scratch than I would doubt it. You never know untill you try.

Ding! Ding! and the prize goes to the milkman.:grinno:

Its funny reading so many posts not just here but on other forums how its "virtually" impossible. Nothing is impossible, if you are willing to try and experiment...but also on the flip side, prepared to deal with any problems/mishaps.

This "older" fart than me, used a trick, which thought was pretty funny at the time, was a piece of glass or plexi..and divide the tank in half, each side had an aro, both fairly big..about 8-10" and let them see each other everyday. Once every week he would remove the barrier and let each swim back and forth, any signs of agression, he would replace the divider. During this time, he would switch the aro's left to right and vice versa.

He did this for about a month or so, and he finally removed the barrier, and they weren't fighiting at all.

What this suggests to me is, if you as the KEEPER are willing to chance it, take the time and patience to "acclimate" them to each other its quite possible.

Final note, this "older" fart learned this technique while in japan for 20 years, sad to say the poor schlep is no longer among the living.:(

"I CAN'T MEANS I WON'T."

I have 2 silver arowana 20+ living together just fine. COuld the sex of the fish have anything to do with this. Any ideas?
