Can I keep 5 inch venustus with 6 inch oscars will they see it as food? Tank size is 68 gal oscars will be shifted when they outgrow

A 68 gallon tank is too small for 4 oscars, let alone adding a venustus.
They may not eat it, but unless you do daily 80% water changes, poor water quality willl eventually do what aggression might not
4 oscars need a tank of minimum 150 gallons, preferably something over 200 gallons.
He said they will be moved when they outgeow

I would guess if they ate a convict they have outgrown a 68G already. OP might want to decide if he wants one oscar or one juvenile venustus. The venustus will need a 72" tank in a couple of months as well.

I agree with the others.
The tank is overcrowded now.
If the plan is to upgrade later, later is here time for an upgrade.

You would probably want to keep oscars and venustus in separate tanks regardless of tank size...each with water parameters appropriate to the fish.
