A 68 gallon tank is too small for 4 oscars, let alone adding a venustus.
They may not eat it, but unless you do daily 80% water changes, poor water quality willl eventually do what aggression might not

I would guess if they ate a convict they have outgrown a 68G already. OP might want to decide if he wants one oscar or one juvenile venustus. The venustus will need a 72" tank in a couple of months as well.
There are 4 6" Oscars. They have outgrown the tank.

You would probably want to keep oscars and venustus in separate tanks regardless of tank size...each with water parameters appropriate to the fish.
ya I moved my two 6 inch oscars out of a 75g growout bc I could not keep stable peramiters even with 50-80% water changes and good filtration that tank is over stocked no doubt
Dude what they did is they were chasing it very badly convict was having difficulty in surviving
