If you take illegal fish in WI technically the DNR can confiscate everything that was used to get that fish. Fishing gear, your boat, your trailer, and yup, your truck.
i dnt think feds are gunna come in my yard to tell me to stop collecting crabs becauze the pond is on my property ....

Thats just the thing...depending on how mature your friends are this can be a real issue. One day you and your girlfriend break up, the next day...you have a warden waking you up. "Excuse me son, but I have reason to believe that you are holding native fauna here without proper liscensing or registration. Would you mind if I came in and had a look around?"
Your probably fine, but I just figure you should look into it.
haha lets hope tht doesnt happend lol... i tlked to my auncle who works for the wildlife nd fishiries and he said it'll be okay just do it in your pond not at the beach or anything
