Can a Convict Pair be Broken?

They just laid some eggs couple days ago and got some wigglers now.
but the weird thing is that male kicked female out of the territory.
and male is attacking viciously whenever the female is near.
Can the pair be broken?
Let me hear your experience.

i always seperate my female into my fry growout tank, it works out pretty well.

you could keep her in if its a big enough tank with plenty of hiding spots.

Some time i have to take her out because shes attacking the male

no they will, put her back in once you remove the fry or the fry get large enough to be self sustaining.

She always gets a little agression when i re-introduce her, but the next day there is a new batch....its a love hate relation ship with convicts

i alway thought that the bond will not break and they would guard the frys together.

My pair did that and I didnt serperate them because I dont want their bond to be broken.
