I don't think.. everything I've seen has said they grow at a similar rate.

I have found that they do grow slower than silvers especially when they are smaller. But I agree that the 125 is too small.

This fish is about 3 years old (going by the previous owners estimate) I have had him for about 10 months. He has grown about 5"-6". He is about 17"- 18" now.

He is nice but he has killed two fish in the last 5 days!! After being so good for so long.:(I am thinking of trading him in for a RTG, Green or a black aro.

thx for the info guys. i guess i will put him in a 125 when hes big enough and keep him for as long as i can then make a trade at that time. im deffinetly not going to put him in my 220 with all my fish thats in there or all heck would break loose.:)
