Can a teadrop butterflyfish go with a clown trigger?

I have been wanting to add a clown trigger to my fish tank but I am afraid he will kill my teadrop butterfly fish. I’d rly like some advice

I haven’t had either of these fish, but given that butterflies tend to be rather delicate, I wouldn’t mix the two together.
Try looking into some filefish species, they are related to triggers but much smaller and less aggressive.

Agree with this I've had a couple of Triggerfish that were boisterous and aggressive.

75 really doesn’t offer enough space for either the trigger or butterfly.
Good colorful fish for that size are are yellow tang, basslets (as mentioned), dwarf angels, and many wrasses.

There’s a few Anthias species that would work. A male and two or three females would look nice.
