Can all of my fish be in the same tank?????

I kind feel stupid because I thought the 300 gph was to much.I am more educated now and want to get a 350-400 gph filter because I read on many sites that to get very good filteration turning over the tank 10 times an hour is good.Is that correct?Will it get my neon tetras or swordtails?Will it stress out my angels??

If you keep the water levels up to reduce the water falling into the tank it will cut down on the water turbulence. A 40 gallon has a decent surface area
