Can an Oscar and a Afrian chiclid Live together

i have a 55g tank with 7 chiclids. a syandontis catfish and two bichirs
do you think it would be a good idea to put a oscar in the tank

no even if the fish got along you would be overstocked imo

haha yeah the O might kill some of those... esp in a 55 cause O's normally need about a 75 for life

I dont think it would of been a 55gal because from my experience a 55 was the bare minimum for a single adult oscar...

I don't care if it was a 125 gallon tank, I still wouldn't put an Oscar with Africans.
