Just remembered and got a pic. Roeboides guatemalensis. These get about up to 7in and school very well. Aggressive to smaller fish. These can be obtained more easily compared to charax. More hardy to transport from wild to home aqauriums. View attachment 1184816

While they look like charax, they very different fish. Charax I believe are more fragile and shy. These guys are not. I wouldn't mix them because exos will nip, but these guys may prey on small exos. Exos really aren't killers when it comes to larger fish, but I have seen them attack each other when a LFS stock got low. I also saw a LFS that had a JD in with exos. The JD was snacking on them. Expensive feeders lol. IMO it's just best to keep them separate.
