Can anyone guess what this is???

Looks nothing like a Texas. But I guess that's the only fish with spangles you see at Petsmart, lol.

I agree with white15 that it looks like one of the Astatheros species, not sure which one.

My first thought was fire x Texas also but the mouth kind of stumped me

No way that is a robertsoni or any type of astatheros. Trust me I know. It is a herichthys either cyano or caprintis. It is hard to tell because the fish is young.

I would say it is amphilophus robertsoni as some of you said..
