For a typical brackish tank (with a salinity of 15ppt), @ 15 lbs of salt mix are required per 100 gallons.
Right-o... Anyhow 13.5 pounds should be right in my 90 gallon system.
If I put in 22 cups of Instant Ocean for 90 gals my density reads over 1.010. For “real” instant seawater it says to use 1/2 cup per gallon or 15 lbs/100g as Duane mentioned.
Evidently this works out to 27 pounds for 90 gallons
