Can anyone help sex my flowerhorn?

Can anyone tell me what gender you guys think it is? I asked 4 people and 2 said male and 2 said female. What do you guys think?

Can’t tell from the first couple of vent pictures as they are not focused on the vent.

In the other pics I think male as the papilla looks pointed

All fish have papilla, sometimes it’s more noticeable than others. You can see it when they are ready to breed.

Thanks but I’m hoping it’s a she as it was the slowest growing one and took more of the red from the mum. Dad is more pink with pearls.

Here is my male and female JD that I use to have.

My male always had his papilla sticking out.the different between male and female is the males is hooked and pointed forward and the female’s is more tube shaped.

Daam well this one with its mouth pointed to the left the papilla is thin and pointy but it doesn’t seem curved it’s more pointed to the right. Time will tell I guess. So far it’s growing really slowly even doh I’m feeding it Bio Gold+ and Okiko Platnium. I read that females grow slower than males too. Really hopes it can be a female to replace my adult female. This is the pair.

if it is a male and living with another male it might also slow growth and try to look more female as it isn’t the dominant fish

The juvenile is in a tank on its own however I tried placing a divider with my male and the baby in the first week, same day I removed the divider as the baby was swimming normally on his side . Baby kept running from my big male. Whenever the big male comes to investigate the baby automatically runs so after a half hour or so the big male left it alone and was functioning perfectly fine without checking the juvenile and the juvenile just kept hiding.
