The yellow one was in a tank with other ones just like him that were partly yellow and partly purple and all yellow and all purple. They were all the same fish I just dont remember the name he gave me

The yellow fish doesn't look like a yellow lab at all. It looks like a male starting a color transition. At this point there is no way to be positive but it does remind me of my Metriaclima msobo at the very start of their color change.
That's a msobo x labidochromis hybrid. The face is too long for a msobo, too short for a lab. Black fins like a lab, mustard yellow color like a juv. Msobo. Black cheek spot like a msobo, but small and incomplete. Mouth narrower than a msobo, but not as much as a lab.
The second one appears to be a OB zebra or labidochromis hongi hybrid of some sort. A video might be easier than pics.
