Def. a Blue Channel Catfish, but looks like someone took a pretty nice-sized bite out of him and tooik most of his dorsal fin with it. The spine might be gone, so it might not grow back.

I dont think it come from another fish bite. his fins are destoryed from fungus or ammonia burns. otherwise his spines should still there, Ive seen this common in Walmart catfish (corydoras, sharks, pictus etc). It possible for him to regrow his fins, I once save a 4 inch long corydora from Walmart, he have no fins on him. Four months later he got his fins back and it turn out he's highfin...awesome!
