can anyone ID this cructacean i fed my aro?

cool lookin critters.....bt they wont make it past my nile puffer, if they do.....the atheopicus will do the job.......if not the pacus will definitely do it.......i've gt one blue crayfish that has entrenched itself inside a potted plant...every evening.....my two jaguar rays will go torment the guy.....

Heyy i use those to fish! Theyre great bait cept for the fact that they come off the hook easily.

No way!! I just moved the Pacific Northwest from the deep south, and have been dismayed by the lack of cool critters. Sure, there's lots of biodiversity in the Sound, but in the South every tiny puddle is full of life.

I need to look for some sand shrimp.
 
It's too cold here for a lot of smaller critters, you're just looking in the wrong places. Go to the rainforest, go into the cascases, there's so much wildlife here it's insane, you just have to earn the sights.
