Can anyone ID this loach?

From what I read, this loach is one mean fish... and he's definetly holding his own against the trophs. Actually, many people are surprised at this combo of fishes... but I did my research... .the pheno and flamebacks are pretty peaceful, and the trophs may get brutal among themselves, but they tend to leave other fishes alone. So all in all, the fishes are pretty happy together.

I thought i was right ;) A large number of these have come into the UK through some of the Maidenhead branches and i saw some at Pier aquatics a month ago around that size for £35 a bargain

They're starting to trickle into the US too... but the price is still high.
I was able to get this guy at a super deal.... but from what I know... there's only 1 vendor in the US that has a group of these, and he's selling them for near $100 each....
