Can anyone id this snake I found in my yard?

I'm not a fan of snakes lol I don't mind looking at them or holding them but i think its a cooler looking snake than like a boa that most ppl get the only reason i don't like snakes is cuz I feel horrible after feeding

There ARE venomous snakes there - copperhead and probably pygmy rattlers, and possibly 1 or 2 other rattlers and probably water moc's.

Look at the eyes if it has a vertical line then it's a viper and likely dangerous if the eyes are circles then it's not. Personally looks like a rat snake.

Still doesn't give you the right to want the snake dead...It hasn't harmed you or anyone else.Its a rat snake,get it?...it eats pests and furthermore it's just a baby for crying out loud!

I would rather a few snakes than s$%t load of field mice and rats, Let him go he has a job to do, we use to catch large gopher snakes and let them go under the house to keep the rattlers away.
