Knowing is half the battle right? All I need is an ID of what I'm dealing with. My 1.5" umbee cichlid has this weird white stuff growing on its body. The little guy had just a small patch when I unboxed him a few weeks ago and as he grows, it grows too. He eats and behaves like a healthy fish. So first I thought it was a fungus, close up it doesn't look like a fungus but I still treated him with API fungus cure and Pimafix (seperately) for 2 weeks...nothing. It's not ich, doesn't look much like
velvet...I'm lost. Any ideas of what it could be is appreciated.
