oh and is their any kind of info you guys would like to tell me about them...like food, size, tank size, growth speed, companions in tank...stuff like that would be nice to know

is their ANY info on them that i should be wary about? oh yea can i put a Siamese Tiger Datnoid and a Indonesian Tiger Datnoid and together in a 1,700 gallon Pond that im going to build in the Summer? with my red tailed catfish, rtc x tsn, silver arowana, jardini arowana and others are being debated on with either getting a certain type of fish or not...

a jardini is a bad mixer, :) gl

thought it was a NTT.

anyways, NTT do not get as big as a wide bar and not likely to get huge. for some reason not many people have NTT at a big size. they are usually shy and hide, but when their colors are really vivid.

from my personal experience of keeping NTT, i hated them just because i barely saw my NTTs and i starved them for a month to get them off feeders, but they just wouldnt let go of the bad habit. so i had to let them go to another owner who was willing to feed them feeders.

having a NTT with a jar is possible, i had my NTTs with a jar. they are slow growers, so your plans of having all those monster fish in your tank isnt a good idea with this slow grower

I say NTT as well. Lots of driftwood and other hiding places are good. Keep the nitrates down and do waterchanges often. NTT are more suceptable to disease. I wouldnt put him in with the catfish bro. He'll be lunch for sure.

It's not a widebar (D. pulcher) or Indo (D. microlepis). It's definitely Datnioides undecimradiatus, known in the U.S. as "thinbar datnoid" and in Asian as "North Thai tiger" or "NTT." It's a FW species originating from the Mekong River basin.

I agree.

It just has wider bars than usual.
