Can anyone identify this sunfish?

I dont know why this thread came back but the OP's fish looks very similar to the green sunfish/pumpkinseed hybrid in one of the other active threads in this section currently. The fish in question seems to have characteristics of both species and I would guess that's exactly what this is.
 
Any sunfish species that is crossed with a green can made like that fish. That's why it should be labeled as a green hybrid. Not green x pumpkinseed hybrid.
 
i catch small greens all the time with my nephew. if i had to guess i would say green, but would not surprise me at all if it was a hybrid.
