I've been unable to find a female for my dovii and i've realised that I don't like keeping one fish in a 260, especially as he is very shy.. He's 14", I'm in the West of Scotland and would be happy for him to go for free to someone who can house him properly. I won't ship so pick up only. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but thought I might get a better response here.

As long as it's free to a good home, I'm pretty sure you can post it wherever you want. I don't think the Marketplace/Advertising rules apply unless $$$ is involved. I wish I could take him, but I don't think a long trip across the Atlantic is in my budget right now, Lad :(

Resist the urge dude, he is awesome! Will he not accept any tank mates, could try some pleco and armoured catfish like irwini. Still got alot of growing to do and attitude to gain.
I'm sure someone will snap him up, an eBay add or aquarist classifieds might help.

dam this bad boy is free! i woulda took him in a heart beat! faster than a blink of a eye if it was local LOL.

Yeah he is a stunning fish but i'm really not into the one fish in a large tank thing, I thought I would be given how he looks but he rarely comes out of hiding and finding a female for him turned out to be alot more difficult than I anticipated. Someone has just offered me money for him on a selling site so he should be going to his new home on Monday. It's a shame he isn't going to someone on here, wold've been good to get updates on him later!
