You could buy a few and grow them to see how they turn out,imo the fry and the fish in the pic don't look alike. The fry have red eyes while the juvie has white/yellow eyes. How much were they asking? The fish in the picture would definitely cost a pretty penny.

Yeah they seem to be kamfas to me atleast. They all have the boxy body style, they all have lots of big bold pearls and the all have the wider then average tailfin. All of which are traits that kamfas have. As to whether they will actually gain that nice red and black color, only time will tell. Honestly tho there are quite a few good looking ones in that pic so ya would have pretty good odds of ending up with a very good looking FH.

The eyes can be easily explained as part of their genes. All FH's have Veija and Trimac blood in them so that's where they get the white/yellow (Veija) and red (Trimac) eye colors from. As for them having white/yellow eyes, well they probably just ended up with the Veija gene's for eye color while the other inherited the red Trimac eye color instead.

No matter what by the end of the day these are still all hybrid fish and being such will have offspring of many different varieties when it comes to visible traits. Take my FH's for example. I have 2 females atm from the same parents that were both ZZ Red dragons but the mother had the fader gene while the father did not. Some fry looked like the dad, some looked like the mother and then a small hand full ended up almost completely white/pink. I kept the one that faded the most along with one of her sisters (who I thought was her brother at the time) and grew them out over the course of 2 years. This is how drastically different they ended up looking compaired to each other. Least to say at first glance ya would never even know they were related let alone from the same clutch of eggs.

Ok thanks I'm getting them for about $20 a piece. I was going to buy 12 and grow them out a little and resell them

They may be baby Kamfa but for the seller to be claiming what they will look like as they get older is just ridiculous. There are some fish in the pic that have some amazing pearling on them already which is a great sign of a higher quality Flowerhorn. However there are also some fish that don't look anywhere near as good. If you can see them in person and buy a few I would do that. If they are going to be picked for you, and mailed to you, I would be a bit more concerned about not getting the best in the bunch.

Yes I am going to pick them out and I guess there are only 14 left so well see. They also have a bunch of thai silk but I'm not to interested in those. Hopefully what's left is higher quality but I would guess not.

Are you having them shipped or are you local to the seller?
