I've asked the others on the forum to sex my male Umbee one month ago. It was thought to be female lol but look at him now completely changed to a male. He has the same vent as your fish( at least in the photos I see no difference)

Not to start a feud. But I see a big difference in your vent compared to the original pic. Original pic perfect U vent. Yours is more of a wide V.

female umbee seem to out grow males up till there about 6 to 7 inch imo

Don't think so honestly one has a perfect u shape the other one has a little bit of a point of a u shape
