can bichirs get ich?

Just out of curiosity. I never heared that bichirs got ich and i would like to hear what you think about it.

I think they can get it but do seem more resistant to it than other fish

Sure can!
I had an outbreak of ICh a while back due to me stupidly adding a CB ornate in a terrible state from a very rough pet store into my main Bichir tank.
One of my larger PBB was absolutely covered in it.

Temps up, salt in usual stuff cleared up in no time.

I would assume any fish that goes in an aquarium could get ick. Bichirs have a slime coat that makes them more resistant but not completely immune.

Yeah, both fine.
Iv'e never really had any worries with ICH.
The few times my tanks have had it (various fish) I just bumped the temps right up, and added salt curing it pretty quickly.
It's quite easy to get rid of.

i never had ich in any of my tanks. hats why i fear it. no experience with it.

ICH is pretty easy to cure. If you do get it, don't panic. Just bump up the temp to 84F-86F and add some Aquarium Salt (I believe 1 Tablespoon for every 5 Gallons?).
