Hey y'all! I have a quick question, I'm considering getting some brochis corys (they are full-grown adults, 4 inches or so), and I'm wondering if they will be safe with peaceful cichlids such as EBAs, Angelfish, etc.

I've had corys before, and they got severely beaten up by some larger African cichlids; I don't want that to happen again if I mix the wrong fish.

Thank you!

P.S. Before you ask, I've made some big changes to my tank over this weekend. I will explain that further in a thread about my finished setup. For those of you who are a little concerned, don't worry: My tank setup is peaceful fish that are beautiful and active. I'm very happy with how it is going, its what I've been wanting all along. Once again, I will share pictures and provide a more detailed update on my tank in another thread.

Yes, cories will be fine with some cichlids, better with peaceful cspecies, and the larger the cories the better. Will be fine with EBAs. I have small ones (adult and very young panda) with a pair of angelfish with no issues. The more places to hide, the better. Large Brochis should be ok with many cichlids, but I am not an aggressive cichlid keeper.

Thank you for the response! I will probably get the brochis today if the LFS still has them...if they don't...I will see what they have at the Expo this coming weekend ;). I also don't keep aggressive cichlids.
