Can datnoids be housed w/ armatus?

looked it up....found a few housed together....one bad story....im doin it...hopefully soon.

it seems armatus and orino may do well due to growth rates....we'll see:)
 
orino's grow much slower.
 
if the orino's are bigger to begin with you could give it a shot

Just cause most fail to make it work doesn't mean it can't be done... Lol

In all seriousness you might get lucky short term but wouldn't count on it lasting long term.
 
Dats. I've never really kept Cichla so I'm clueless there.
 
If you have a dat tank and toss an armatus in, they are going to kill the armatus.
If you have just 1 or 2 dats and 1+ armatus I don't see you having any problems.
Pbass with armatus is fine. Pbass with dats is fine.
