Well, I got a nitrate test and I got the results, it looks like it's around 2-5 ppm lmao, I was using a pond test kit, I thought that worked fine for a freshwater aquarium but I guess not lol

LMAO good news man. also always check the expiry dates when you use test kits. most have an expiry date and give false readings when outdated

You think that if you had 2 bleeding heart tetras that there would have been a blood bath? If so, I highly highly doubt it. They're a peaceful tetra unless you're talking about another fish named bleeding heart something.
