In my Oscar tank, I have a Pictus Catfish. As such, I add a couple of sinking Catfish tablets, however, my Oscar tries to eat them even though they don't fit in its mouth. It's scary to see the tablet sticking out of my Oscar's mouth because it seems like it doesn't have room to breath. It's really stubborn so whenever the tablet falls out, it just tries and swallows it whole again.
Does this mean that my Oscar is hungry and isn't being fed enough to the point where it wants to eat my Catfish's food? Oscars seem to be hungry all the time, so that might not be a part of this issue.
How should I go about feeding my Pictus Catfish without the worry of my Oscar choking on its food or eating it?
Thank you!
