Can Fish to be tax deductible?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
with the current state of the economy and the debt the government is having on state/federal level getting flak on all levels.

I think they're starting to crack down even more in my personal opinion to squeeze every dollar. The place where I work for is now getting more regulations on medicaid and how to document the forms as we get the funds from the government. They're gonna penny-pinch everybody. Its now the time and age that everyone is gonna be held accountable not like before about the "big fish" attitude- tis the little fishies they're gonna go after too.

though I have never thought about "big" purchases like a 20k car could a 20k fish be considered that if we shelled so much on sales tax.. might be reasonable.

sales tax is only deductible to the extent it exceeds your state income tax paid and only if you itemize deductions. so most likely you won't be deducting any sales tax

This could be a great excuse to allow your parents to get a bigger tank. lol

Actually I think there's a new rule regarding sales tax deduction on a NON-itemized return. I'd have to look it up to be sure.
