here is the stocklist in my 180
16" aro
10" pbass
8" pbass
10" clown knife
10" ID shark
8" ID shard
14" TSN
9" irwini

i have a large canister and a wet dry on it, so filtration shouldn't be an issue, and i plan to get a larger tank in about a year, and if not, i will split it into 2 tanks

anyhow, someone near me has a large pike for sale, and i would like it, but i dont know if it would do well with these tankmates.

i dont know what kind of pike it is for sure, but heres the link

Pike cichlid? Make sure its big enough not to fit in your catfish or arowana mouth and your should be ok... I dont know about your sharks...they my be in danger. clown knife pbass and arowana and tsn will be fine....

And thats a crenicichla sveni female... Pretty fish... not overly aggressive i just saw tthe link...

id fear for the pike when the tsn and arrowana get bigger... it could work for now if ur planning on two separate tanks... might wanna try the crenicichla section and see what they say

If a native pike no. if a pike cichlid maybe but be ready to divide if need be.

N2N - I would guess short term you would be fine unless your TSN would eat her. Has your TSN starting accepting pellets yet? Many pikes tend to stay toward the bottom of the tank and that is TSN territory. Long term she will get outgrown and become lunch for someone. Nice looking fish though.
