both the GT and jag togther is a little too much imo

Well, the thing is, you are going to need something that can hold it's own against a breeding pair of convicts. The jag is a better choice for that but your oscars might not like it. You could try for a GT with a bad attitude, but I've had some that would get their butt beat by breeding convicts.

i picked up a firemouth, gt, and what i THINK is a jag today. they are all very small, about 2". they may not even make it but well see. ill get rid of the female con and the 5 tiny cons at the next water change.

it looks exactly like this. the pictures dont show it but on his belly he has black speckles. so i think it has to be a jag
