Can I catch out the fish or not ?

Hmm refridgerated bacteria culture? Never seen that around here, just the stuff like API stress zyme and i only use that for the 2 1/2 weeks of cycling of a new tank, along with some used media from another tank.

Itll be better if you just take a piece of sponge from your running tank and put it in the new one, unless thats what your dad already did, which he might of

One of them is called Microbe- Lift and there is no need for attitude just because you were not aware of something... Google it...

we have put my second filter in it for bacteria and some stuff from the old tank
the fish are put in the new tank and the seem to be fine
will let u know if something happens :D
 
When I was new to fish tanks, I used to fill the tank up with tap water, dechlorinate with stress coat, and put in the fish.. None ever died from that. Im sure they were not feeling well for a while but it's not that deadly for stronger cichlids. But that's dangerous on the first day with no established filter for the tank. So a week cycle should be good. Take the running filter to use for the new tank for faster cycle.
