Can i feed my monoculus kangaroo meat?

Hey guys. Just wondering if i can feed my mono juvies small amounts of roo meat. We buy it in bulk as we keep ferrets and i wanted to know if my little guys can have it too.

I dont want it as a staple but a little bit per week. For those americans that dont know about roo meat, its very high in protein and low in saturated fats, better then chicken and turkey, and its $3 per kilo. But is it ok too give em some? i gave them a few tiny bits and they smashed it, but i dont want to make my little guys sick.

Don't know the spec's on roo meat...but.....ummm...as long as it's lean meat?
 
i wouldnt do it i heard fish have a hard time digesting meat because their digestive systems can cope with it. im not sure i might be wrong i remember someone posting about this but go ahead if u want to.
 
^^^ yeah ive heard this also, but i was told it was due to things having a "high" fat content. But roo is very lean. I wont say its the leanest but yeah im pretty sure its one of the "leanest meats available". Also you can buy frozen beefheart for fish, cichlids in particular down here. But roo is leaner then beef heart!?


Cichla ryan, did you notice i live in australia dude? kangaroos are ****ing everywhere. thats why roo meat is so cheap. Eat them before they eat you i always say.

its all good man i get it np its like rabbit meat here in SD atleasst its just me rabbits are like freaking everywhere in PQ!
 
We got those little bastard rabbits too.. omfg! so many rabbits :P :D

So anyone shed some light on my problem? anyone here feed beefheart of liver or anything similar? if so did you continue to use it? were there any problems?

ive heard fish arent good at digesting mammal meat...or was it fat...:confused:
i dont think itd make them sick,but i wouldnt do it often.
