20gallon tank new is what, like 25 bucks? you might be splitting hairs by the time you weigh the difference between the cost in time and parts between fixing it vs just buying a brand new, clean, warrantied tank. If it was a 40+ it would be a different story, but small tanks are so cheap...

Thats not the point people...sure you can probubly replace it cheaper than you can repair it...but we're talking about a rescued tank here...one that needs love, attention and water...fish to hold and care for... LOL

Went out and bought a new one, because I found too many scratches in the other. I will use the old one for a con breeding tank.
