It was bred in Japan, so I think we will always be curious to the true genetics. IF it is some special F2 cross put back to a P14 I am sure that combo is a safely guarded secret!

mine threatens me all the time... just wear a bullet proof vest and you will be fine.... seriously sell the car go to walmart by a bicycle and get that stunning ray....
If you have any black rays of the opposite gender i would say go for it. I dont think i would sell my car though.

this ray was some time ago for 30000$ on aquabid.
He developed very well, even if there is some photoshopping on that picture (high contrast and whiter white). Very nice galaxy royal pattern.
What is the size of this ray now?
In my opinion this ray could be a pure blood F1 or F2 Itaituba (P14) or a leopoldi x Itaituba hybrid.
I had two F1 pups with this nice pattern, but not as solid as in this ray. But the pattern can change when the ray is growing. Some rays have large spots when they are young but the size of the spots did not change when the rays grow (or the large spots split into double and tripple spots). Others have small spots but the spots start to grow after some months. I sold one of the two pups with small spots and after a year I've seen a picture of the ray and thought: "Oh no, why did I sell this beauty!"
