no :( got these guys shipped to me to hold for peter. i'd like to keep one or two but i dont think my psittacus likes them. they had a rough night after being in an accident on the fedex truck. all are well and exploring the tank. they'll be in my possession till sunday. thanks ryan for you generosity and excellent packing. i see the "holes" you are talking about, they look to be just sensory pits.

What size are they? Give it some time, anytime you add a new decent size fish they will need to establish a new pecking order. My psittacus don't like any Uaru or sevs when I first add them either. Within a couple days things always calm down.

I'm certain the Dat will not work with your tank. You should give him to me.

There, I said it;).

I've accepted the reality that I cannot talk you into letting the dat go.......somewhat unfortunate but........just remember, it's not my fault..:evil_lol:

I think your parrots will come around. My severums were unsure about the Uaru when I first added them to my 150, but now everyone ignores each other and things are great.

They do look pretty rough and banged up. I guess that's to be expected when you overnight fish through FedEx. The dark gray color will eventually fade when they settle in and they'll be more tan like the other pictures I posted.

I hope you guys enjoy them. I look forward to seeing them as they grow.

Thanks so much Ryan...will do my best to keep them healthy and happy :)

You're welcome, Peter. I wanted them to go to someone who would appreciate them for what they were. Not many folks have the orange Uaru.

The worst part is over! I am always a nervous wreck when I ship fish. I was chewing off my fingernails this morning, waiting on a message from Sean. I didn't sleep well after FedEx told me the truck had been in a wreck last night. Now that I see them in the tank with their fins and eyes intact, I can relax a bit...

... but not too much, because I have some H. notatus coming any minute from Jeff Rapps. Hey, I had to fill that empty tank with something. ;)
