Hey guys i want to put 4 Alligator Gars in my 2,000gallon pond. All i want to know is about the temp. I will be keeping them in a 54 gallon untill i get them on pellets. The pond is ush 60F, if am not wrong i think i saw a thread of a guy keeping an Alligator Gar in 50F water. Can i do this? Am in Cali (Orange County). So no snow, and its winter and this is the lowest my temps get. thanks.

Deatils on the pond: 2,000gallons, 1 pond filter, 1 Jebo UV sterlizer(rated for 2,000gallons), 1 3,000GPH pump for flow, and might add another pond filter.
and other stock in the pond will be 200 minnows (restocked every other week for the gars), 2 breeding pair of sunfish, and i will be getting to 2 self cloning marble cray's so when they "clone" themselfs ill throw them in for the gars also.
