:iagree: if its 18" wide i dont feel its wide enough for when the pbass mature.
 
it depends on the bass you keep but you will eventually need a bigger tank
 
A bigger tank is needed later, but a 150g would last for a bit.
 
A 150g will hold about 50 total inches of fish comfortably. Thats 3 gallons per inch. But none of those fish should be longer than about 10 inches if the tank is only 18 inches wide. So ten 5 inch fish or five 10 inch fish would be max. capacity. Just me but I wouldnt even go that far. I would probably only do 4 gallons per inch once the fish go beyond 6 inches.

really? how many cichla do you have and what size tank are they in?.. and don't tell me i want to see pictures to prove it.

i thought the monster rule was 1 inch per 5 or 10 gallons?
