Oscars have personality and for that reason can act unpredictably. My Oscar Toejam lived with a fish for 2 years peacefully but one day I came home and he was in his mouth. Oscars are opportunistic and will eventually eat anything they consider small enough to be eaten. Those juveniles will eventually grow large enough to overstock the aquarium then you are sure to run into aggression issues.
Can I keep a tiny oscar with breeding adults ?
