so I have a couple pbass which are 8-10" and a arowana that's 12-13" those are rough guess's as anytime I get near with a tape they bash into stuff and get freaked out like crazy.... but anyway I have a chance to get a 18-19" florida gar which lives with a big arowana at the moment, now could I add the gar into my tank without having trouble or am I asking for trouble if I decide to add him ? he eats pellets feeders shrimp[ and pretty much anything

Aros are often skittish when kept in tanks that are a bit on the small size. Bass and aro is a great combo, but be realistic about the tank size you'll need to house a bunch of fish that size.
ya I have noticed mine is a little skittish at times it seems yet lol

Gar do not do well with skittish fish.
well for the most part the aro is good but he has times were he gets scared and darts off to the other side of the tank, and it only happens if someone spooks him but he is getting better he was WAY more skittish then he is now ... if anything I wouldn't consider him skittish I think it more he gets startled like when someone comes around the corner and your not expecting them lol

Just curious what size tank ?

You also should ask for a pic of the gar - It's very uncommon to see a Florida that really is that big.

ya I have seen a pic of the gar thinking it may have been a gator but nope its a florida gar for sure, he is in a 200g tank at the moment since he was tiny
