If you have a 15 IMO if the polys start gaining size on the discus I would just grow the discus out a couple inches in the 15. Once the discus hit 5-7" they should be fine for a while just because of not only their length but their height to.

That combo will be fine but expect to loose a few fish if your bichirs get hungry. I had discus and poly before.

When my teug was 6" it massacred a 6" Angel that was nipping it's tall. Ripped another angels eye out as well as an 8"silver arowanas eye. These should have been fine together but if you have an especially evil fish anything can happen.

^ what were the other fish in the tank? Polys mouths just don't seem fit to rip just eyes out, they grab and death roll

It was just the poly and the arowana and just him and 4 angels. The only fish it won't attack is my African butterfly which is what it's with now. Yea it didn't seem like their mouths would be good for it but he loves eating eyeballs.
