The whole thrill of piranhas killing things wears thin pretty quickly. Most P's won't even do it in front of you until your no longer interested in watching. The first time it happens while your watching its sort of a thrill. After that it just means it's time for a water change. P's are also so timid and chill that it gets old having a tank with one species of fish that don't ever do anything, are afraid of everything, and kill anything you put in there with them. I dont know... I know how it is when your lusting after the unattainable but the grass is always greener on the other side...

you could:

A) move to a different state

B) smuggle the piranhas by boat, or plane back to HI.

C) pick a different fish

im trying to look for a different fish :D. thats what i need help with. but if there are any piranha species unmentioned on the list id want to get those.

mostly looking for a shoaling fish... id get exos but their $10 a piece for such tiny ass fish.

I have actually let me piranhas "kill" for food maybe 4 times. Other than those four times they get fed frozen and pellets.

go marine and get a lionfish, frogfish, or soldierfish. Soldier fish can get huge and they eat feeders by the dozen I'm sure there's all kinds of cool marine stuff available in HI. I know some guys that dive off johnston atoll all the time and do deep sea spear fishing (which is insane btw) and they see craziness I can't even imagine. They've even got pics of them hitchin a ride on a whale shark.

pedro from aquascapeonline does have exodons and many different species of piranha for that matter...i ordered 16 and i got 17 from him and there all doing well except one that was the weaker link sort a speak and he's got a chunk taken out of him...and i dont have a hospital tank for him, im sure hell die soon enough.
