I dont think any turtles can be mixed with fish apart from a soft shell but someone else will be able to clarify. What species you looking at?

No, the turtle will surely harass and kill the slower moving goby, eel, and knife. With a possibility of him take a chunk out of and killing the rest of your fish. Turtles and fish never really mix unless its a fast schooling fish like white clouds.

I don't know squat about turtles except for they look cool. Are there any species of turtle at all that will work with my fish? I don't want a turtle that's going to chomp on my fish.

Okay. Messing with my knife or eel is a HUGE no-no in my book.

Keeping a turtle with your fish is a gamble, there is always the chance the turtle will view your fish as food and you come home to one of your fish mangled and eaten.

I actually keep jade goby and a royal clown knife with my turtle but it is not so much a question of what fish can be kept with turtle your turtle but rather what turtle can be kept with your fish.

Fly river turtles, mud or musk turtles, some map turtles, and mata mata turtles go well with most fish and largely ignore one another. Most other species will fight or eat one another.

I was talking mainly about sliders and soft shells harassing and taking bites out of his fish. Unlike your mata which just swallows small fish...
