can i put my flowerhorn with tank mates in a 125

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ok than i think ill just get the 225 for more fish also do you think its possible to put a red tail in my pond its about 800 gallons

Red tailed catfish? 800 gallons will most likely fit an rtc for a long while. But be wary of a couple things:

-anything smaller than the cat will eventually become prey.
-rtc can live for decades and eventually exceed 5'. Caring for one is quite an undertaking, quite a commitment, regardless of your ponds size.

Red tail can gulp anything and everything really. Add a small red tail and keep a check on its size as comparison to other fish in your pond. It will turn into a monster pretty soon so plan accordingly. Your bass are big so I think no problem for quite a long time but as I said red tail catfish grows so big but I belive you can still keep it for as long as you can (if you have a place to rehome him or later in future).
