can i put these two together

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no really i dont get what u mean ur comment doesnt make sense

He was being sarcastic a bit... keep your water as pristine as possible especially now that you have added the clarias ..they do tend to be a bit more messy.. so until you can get the larger tank that is the best you can do... and do watch the arow in the beginning ... sometimes they can get awful jumpy with a new fish added ...keep a heavy weight on the top for the clarias and the arow.. the arow is a jumper and the clarias can find his way out ..lol.. they do walk from pond to pond.. good luck.. and don't let these guys bother you..

thanx u only come on here for advice n u get comments like that ruin it for everyone. ill up it to 30% water changes twice a week. will have new tank within 3 months when i move in to new home. cheers for ur help

your welcome and good luck to you.. post up some pics when you can...there are more good people on mfk then negative...so just ignore them and count on us...

listen at his current size i dont c a problem and i do know and realise that he is going to grow out of that tank hence the new 8x3x2 when i move shortly. why dont u read all the threads before u comment.

Do you mean all the posts? Kinda hard to read all the threads, though I guarentee I've read most. Sorry bud but a 24" silver arowana in a tank that is only 60" long is pathetic at best no matter how many water changes you do. When I see a comment such as you made, I will comment on it in hopes that others will not follow the same bad practice. Does not matter what you posted in latter posts.

BTW your aro has already outgrown you tank.

thats why im getting the bigger tank. my god. i appreciate what ur saying its not the most ideal home for him but its temporary
i admit that when i first bought it i didnt realize the maintanance they require but im making the best of a bad situation for now he gets more attention then the misses

hey mate.. i agree with liz(red devil).. clarias do walk out a lot.. i got some ten lil guys and only 2 made it.. we had stock the pond in our farm as part of an aquaculture project and i took a few home.. like all cats they are pretty messy and will eat anything you throw at them.. they grow insanely fast.. in some ten months the 2 incher was almost 18" to 20".. all the best..

just an update the clarias kept chasing the aro n stressing him out so he went back to the shop. only after a day i might add.

i was afraid that was going to happen.. i have a frontusus synodontis and he did the same thing to all the fish in every tank i put him in.. he loved everybody and would not leave them alone.. so he is in a tank by himself.. too bad you had to bring him back.. they are awesome..
