Can I take a pet fish on an airplane?

ive succesfully gotten 3 dempseys through security. it was actually easier this time than last time. also a tsa agent asked me the best way to prep fish for travel, because he wants to take koi to africa

That really cool to hear, as for international flights, i guess maybe from certain ports it may work a lot easier than others...

I would suspect transporting things in and out of Australia would be a huge P.I.T.A

Hi Carefree_Dude. I been trying to contact you via PM but seems like the messages havent going through. I was wondering, how exactly was the process that you went through to successfully transport your fish on the plane? Like right before you started researching and all that good stuff! I keep reading your thread over and over, trying to piece it together, but no luck.. Can you please help me out? I have never been on a plane, and I want to go through this "Transporting of fish by plane" smoothly! Thank you!
