can i use a regular garden hose to put water back into my tanks?

I have spent hundreds even thousands on this hobby. For me, to not spend a few bucks on a drinking water safe hose is just stupid.

i use my hose. just make sure u let in run for a second or to. if the water is cold just dont change out as much water. but i have done a 25% water change with cold water the temp dropped 1. what i most time is fill a 5 gal bucket with house an add my prime to the water then dump an repeat.

For all my tanks I have done it. And no problems but the water will come out cold if not hooked to a faucet so you have to let it heat up.

just be careful a lot of **** builds up in hoses
